Rahul Kumar Das is an author, academic, educator and researcher, currently based in Dibrugarh, Assam. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accountancy at Lakhimpur Commerce College, Assam, and is associated with academic research at Dibrugarh University.

He was born in Tinsukia, Assam. He completed his schooling at Ganpat Rai Rasiwasia High School, Tinsukia, a government school. He later graduated from Tinsukia College, Tinsukia, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He subsequently completed his Master of Commerce in Accounting and Finance and M.Phil. from Dibrugarh University.

His academic and teaching experience includes serving as Guest Faculty of Commerce at Dibru College, Dibrugarh, and undertaking teaching and counselling responsibilities associated with Dibrugarh University, including its distance and online education programmes.
